Privacy Policy
Platte River Capital, LLC and Platte River Fund, L.P., their employees,
associates and/or affiliates herein after ("Platte River") collects
and shares between them, nonpublic, personal data about our clients
from information we receive on new account paperwork including W-9s,
disclosure forms and prior custodial statements. We believe the collection
of this information comes with the responsibility to manage it in
a way that ensures safety and privacy for our clients. In this regard,
Platte River holds itself to the highest standards in safekeeping
the personal and financial information of our clients.
All information regarding client identity, security holdings and financial
status will be kept strictly confidential. We maintain physical, electronic
and operational safeguards to protect this information. Some of these
safeguards include, firewalls on our IT infrastructure, the use of
account aliases on physical records and physical security measures
taken to secure our offices.
In the normal course of business we sometimes find it necessary to
provide personal information about you to entities that provide a
service on behalf of Platte River. These entities may include: executing
brokers for securities transactions, our proxy voting consultant or
custodians. Platte River expects that these entities will maintain
the strict privacy and confidentiality policies in place at our firm.
If you object to Platte River sharing your personal information in
this way please notify us in writing at 200 Fillmore St., Suite 200,
Denver, CO 80206.
Other than for the purposes discussed above, we do not disclose any
of your nonpublic, personal information unless we are directed by
you to provide it or we are legally required to provide it to a governmental
agency. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Platte River may disclose personal
information in connection with any explanation of services rendered
to professional organizations to which Platte River or its affiliated
persons belong.
